Work: Work was much better this week. In fact, it was so good, I made it out before 8pm every day except Friday. And last Monday, I was even out the door at 6:50pm, which is absolutely unheard of. I don't know if this coming week will be just as good, but let me tell you, it's amazing how much getting just one extra an hour to yourself a day is. ( Read more... )

My mom and I went to an indoor flea market today which meant I had to wake up at 6:30am which meant I didn't get to catch up on any sleep lost during the work week. Upside is the place was super busy and we managed to sell $131.50 worth of crap, the best we've done in the 2 years since we started doing this. I sold the walker! The day was sort of slow, as we don't think the park advertised very well, but the very first thing we sold - and before the flea market even started - was my dad's old walker. It looks like my World Series Champions may have snapped their June slump after sweeping the Mets this weekend. For once we had good starting pitching and Jimmy Rollins was hitting like the MVP he used to be. Thank god. After going losing 12 of 15 before this series we nearly lost 1st place in the NL East. One thing I forgot yesterday - suntan lotion. My arms are bit...crispy right now. And my calves, since I was wearing capris. Didn't even occur to me that I'd be sitting out in the sun for several hours. Sometimes I lack common sense.
